Total launch labor is the total cost of the labor required to launch the stages of the spacecraft up to and including the current stage. Total launch labor ranges from one hundred fifty dollars for a seven kilogram model to nine million for a Saturn V class spacecraft.
This is calculated at each stage after the first using the launch labor cost. Total launch labor is in turn used to calculate the cost of the total launch cost.
total launch labor ( second stage ) = launch labor ( first stage ) + launch labor ( second stage )
total launch labor ( third stage ) = total launch labor ( second stage ) + launch labor ( third stage )
total launch cost = total fuel + total launch labor + total launch structure
This is used in spacecraft cost.
